Behavioral Parent Training
In this course you will learn how to teach effective parenting skills to parents who have children with disruptive or non-compliant behavior. Behavioral Parent Training (BPT) is considered the most well-studied and efficacious psychosocial intervention for school-aged children. The goal is to enhance parenting skills through behavioral practice, modeling, coaching, goal setting, and family communication. In this interactive, multi-media course, material is presented in a variety of formats: interactive exercises, animations, graphical illustrations, and videos of an expert clinician demonstrating the techniques. We hope this course will expand the range of your clinical skills and the treatment options available to your patients.
