Education & Self Help

Web-based self-treatment has been shown to be an effective alternative to traditional face-to-face therapy. We believe that you, the client, are capable of change, and our goal is to empower you with the skills necessary to solve your problems and achieve your personal treatment goals. Our hope is that by learning to “become your own therapist,” you can draw upon these skills to more effectively deal with stress in the future.

Our course “Parenting Your Young Child with Autism: A Web-Based Tutorial for Improving Everyday Skills and Behavior” will help you learn ways to improve your child’s communication, social interactions, and everyday skills and behavior.

Parenting Your Young Child with Autism
Parenting a child with autism can be quite challenging. Autism Parenting is a series of courses where you will learn specific strategies to help you teach your child new skills in the areas most affected by autism: communication, social interaction, play, and behavior. As a parent, you know your child the best and have the most vested interest in his or her development. Thus, these courses focus on empowering you with the skills to improve your child’s functioning during everyday activities and routines. This is a patient education course and does not provide CE credits.
